In October 2020, at the height of the global Covid-19 pandemic, we co-produced our first event with Monique Lonner and Soul of Yoga.

Taking advantage of a brief break in the lockdown across the United States, we gathered over 70 students in person (heavily masked) and online to Breath, Movement and Yoga Anatomy Dissection Lab, held at the Pacific American Life Science Learning Center (5286 Eastgate Mall, San Diego, CA 92121). We’ve been holding events every 18-24 months since.

March 2022: we moved to Colorado Springs, CO to our colleague Gil Hedley’s home lab, the Institute for Anatomical Research.

We presented Movement Anatomy Hands-on Dissection Lab with major participation from My Vinyasa Practice, Michelle Young’s tremendously successful international online yoga teacher training programs and studio in Austin, TX.

June 2023: Colorado Springs

For the second time, we were joined by another group of My Vinyasa Practice students as well as dancers associated with world-renowned pole dance innovator and movement educator, Marlo Fisken.

October 2024: Colorado Springs

We had an exquisite group of movers and explorers including, once again (below left), Marlo Fisken leading a movement experience.

August 2026: Colorado Springs

We just finished up two labs with terrific feedback from our students. It was the first year we held a 2-day pre-lab for experienced dissectors. It was fun and satisfying to get deeply into anatomical exploration as we produced a clean model for the new students to follow and expand on during the subsequent 5-day Layered Lab.
